Dr. David Vesey is a very accomplished Structural Engineer. He is instrumental in shaping our profession into an honorable and reliable practice worldwide.
David is responsible for the some of the tallest building structures in the world. As Past Director at Arup’s Advanced Technology and Research and as their past Global Structural Skills Network Leader, David has performed high profile technical reviews, forensic analysis, and audits of many unique and cutting-edge structural systems.
He has compiled a list of invaluable lessons learnt some of which may have posed themselves as questions while in his role as a Member Examiner at the Institution of Structural Engineer.
On November 20, during his visit to Vancouver, David will present some of these many “Vital Lessons for Structural Engineers” from his collection. SEABC invites all members to join us at this rare opportunity to meet with David and experience the art of work-life balance together with engineering excellence.
